Needs of a Website !

One needs  a website for umpteen reasons. They are storehouses of information on any topic, whatsoever. All thanks to the INTERNET and these websites , u can have  knowledge on any damn thing u want ,ASAP. Websites range in variety too,as per the  need of a person educational, commercial, personal, entertainment, blogs etc. These days, BLOGS rule the roost- kind of websites where u can just vent out  your feelings, where an online diary can be posted  and maintained by people ,at their will.

The use of websites varies widely. I mean from the perspective  of  a  common man, websites provide easy and quick access  to valid, correct ,abundant information on any  of the related topics as per their needs, within no time.Today’s life is fast, swift and advancing forward at a rapid pace where one cannot afford to take time  for  granted ,which just seems to fly by like anything. There is paucity of time. Therin lies the significance of these websites. They reduce our efforts ,time  and energy  in obtaining comprehensive, detailed, in-depth knowledge on any topic.

Now lets talk on different terms slightly. We are living in an era  where there is a cut throat competition between business  firms ,institutions, companies etc .There is a kind of rat race going on these days.Having a huge corporation and workforce is not primarily the concern for these companies. If they don’t have their own websites, they can’t make profit and will eventually end up losing business deals, tenders to any small company which has its own personal website.Websites are always a chance for these companies  to cast  a “first impression” on any one who visits them to have a dekko. Therefore ,websites are even designed meticulously and lots of endeavour goes behind designing them. They have to be good enough to grab the eyeballs of all and sundry, at first blush. But again, one cannot compromise with the technicalities even.Websites need  to have a professional look too, the pages should not be that hard to navigate. In a nut shell, websites have to be designed impeccably well .They provide business to these companies, institutions etc. infact websites are their “bread and butter”.

OVerHAUl your BoDy…

The biggest question in this world, “Am i looking good  ?”

Each and everyone have asked this question more than once in their entire life well thats a long period, i wont be wrong if i would say that each and every one (not GEEKS) asks this questions almost daily.

I have listed the most common reasons for an overhaul of your body :

  1. WEIGHT (less or more)
  2. ATTITUDE
  3. PERSONA
  4. DRESS
  5. OUTLOOK

The FIRST and MOST COMMON problem in WEIGHT, well underweight is not a majorproblem these days but overweight is surely is. Well if you are overweight then my dear friend, you need to take care of yourself. I am going to give you some valuable points.

  • FIRSTLY, workout, walk, running, jogging, anything that involves getting physical is a MUST. It may be hard, but its the necessary step towards your BODY OVERHAUL. Spend daily minimum 1 hour and weekly at least10 hours sweating, kicking your ass, not sitting at on place munching …. GET BACK START WORKING… OR STOP DREAMING FOR A NEW BODY PAL…..
  • DIET : What you eat is what you get ! So think before you eat. FRUITS, MILK and EGGS are a must, PULSES, CHICKEN are excellent proteins. eat them. A STRICT NO TO JUNK FOOD, COLD DRINKS, BEER, FRIED FOOD and DRY FRUITS.
  • TIMINGS : Believe it or not what you eat matters, but even more important is WHEN YOU EAT also matters. There should be equal spacing between all your meals. Breakfast and Evening Snacks should lightest and Dinner should also be light and LUCH can be a little satisfying. DO KEEP at least a gap of 3 hours between anything thats goes down your throat.

Then comes your attitude, are you lathargic and laid back. THAT WONT HELP. Get up start early in the morning and sleep early .. that also helps in fixing your body’s metabolism and keeps fresh and lively throughout the day.

Thirdly, your PERSONA. well with your persona i refer to what kind of vibes do you have, as in are you pesimist or an optimist. Well pesimistic people, please wake up, this world aint that BAD. If ever you need to achieve something in this life, you have to keep yourself optimisitic and have faith in the ALMIGHTY. Just do your part and leave the RESULT to HIM.

UPTU Watch, the magazine to know “Wassup In UPTU”

I got an ebook of UPTU Watch, a company started by alumini of UPTU and IIT. They have taken initiative to give the students of UPTU an insight of UPTU itself. I was quite impressed with the design and content of the magazine and am giving you a link to it.

This magazine from UPTU watch will be available at many campuses. I really hope the students get an idea what the magazine and the initiative is all about.

I would really like the GATE column to be a little more elaborate the next time.. That would really help influence the BTech students to go for MTech and not MBA.

Productive utilization of INTERNET

Let me inform you some of the methods by which one can utilize internet for his/her benifit.  Well it has been seen that more than 70% of traffic on internet does not utilize it, or one can say abour 40 million people just log on and either chat with their friends or surf without anythought. They are not willing to learn anyhting from this massive ocean of KNOWLEDGE “THE INTERNET” .

Some of the most common time wasting websites include YAHOO, FACEBOOK, ORKUT, MYSPACE, GoOGLE, and many others where everyone just log on and either chat or check mail and then asta lavista ..

How many of the internet community wants to learn by reading books. Now adays there is a new PHENOMENON called the eBook. Its nothing but a soft copy of any book (generally in PDF or acrobat format) . One can search the search engines to download the ebook of the topic required or one can use the best site for online book sharing called SCRIBD. Ya the SCRIBD its really awesoome initiative taken to spread the knowledge.

If you are an engineering student or any student in thirst of knowledge or wanting to learn new things you should really log on to scribd.com and read.

There are numerous online encyclopedia the best and most vast these days is WIKIPEDIA. It has great collection of accurate information relating to almost any topic in this universe. One can just go there and search for anything you are requiring.

For leisure yet innovation try doing some ulta creative activityies like opening a BLOG or something. Thats much better way of informing what you are thinking rather than just a text on FACEBOOK or TWITTER.

If you wana earn, hmm… its tough competition out here.

Noida Theater Reviews :: The big Fight

Hi, being a big movie buff thought of giving a review of the various theaters in NOIDA. The most famous these days is the BIG CINEMAS in The Great Indian Place (TGIP) as its relatively newer.

The other theaters are :

1. Wave Cinemas (Center Stage Mall)

2. Spice Cinemas (Spice Mall)

3. JAM (Just About Movies at Shipra, Ghaziabad)

4. BIG CINEMAS (TGIP)

So these are the 4 Multiplexes in NOIDA. I might mention the SHIPRA is not in NOIDA but in ghaziabad but i thought of mentioning it here was that SHIPRA MALL (JAM) is just 1/2 km from NOIDA.

WELL WAVE CINEMAS at Center Stage Mall was the first multiplex in NOIDA. It is still famous for its seat and music quality. Initially when WAVES was the only theater in NOIDA It was priced rather irrationally with ticket of every show Rs 150 . As there was no competition the price never needed to come down. Then came SPICE Cinemas which has a poor ambiance but the pricing caught the eye of most of the people and brought the NOIDAites to theater. Initially it started as PVR Cinemas at SPICE MALL but after a year or so it got into SPICE Cinemas. The price of tickets at Spice Cinema is the best and most competitive. It ranges from Rs 30, 40, 50, 70, 100, 120, 150 and 160.

Then there was BIG CINEMAS at The Great INDIAN PLACE . It had the best feel. The theaters were in complete maroon felt as if we were welcomed to a party of some sort. But the seats at BIG CINEMAS were quite disappointing they were a bit small and lacked padding .

So if you want to save MONEY

I would tell you go for morning show at PVR SPICE priced at mere Rs 30 and Rs 40.

If you want luxury and best ambience the go For WAVE CINEMAS and if you want cozy and private experience the go for TGIP BIG CINEMAS.
